Olivia was born in China and moved to Pleasanton in 2015. She had always found an interest in computers and loved helping others and swimming. In high school, she joined the Foothill girls water polo team and the Foothill swim team. She enjoys volunteering since helping others not only benefit other people but also grants the helper themself with priceless experiences and knowledge. Because of this, she had volunteered at many events and places within the area while also trying to extend out her vision. Last summer, she went to the Chinese province of Ya'an and taught children with a lack of educational opportunities. She is always ready to help and is planning to engage in more volunteering opportunities.
Varunavee has been in Pleasanton since 2009, and is currently an 11th grader at Foothill High School. She had always been interested in volunteering and giving back to the community, so she steadily volunteers every week. In school, she devotes her time to rigorous classes, DECA, Leadership, tutoring, and multiple community welfare/volunteering clubs. Varunavee believes that helping people who need it is of utmost priority, especially when it comes to education. Community is about giving back to the less fortunate and working towards creating equal opportunities for everyone, and Varunavee is a strong believer of this principle.
